About This Gin

Daffy’s is a gin made from specially selected french grain spirit, which is then distilled using a copper whisky still. After a four year experimental journey, the perfect mix of both classic and ‘never been used before’ botanicals have been combined to create this powerful gin. With additions such as Lebanese Mint and Cassia Bark, this gin has an entirely new, unmistakeable flavour.

Our Opinion

We’ve been meaning to try this gin since we first set eyes upon the gorgeous blonde Goddess that is Daffy. The beautifully designed bottle, and tasteful branding, set this gin apart from the majority that are available on the market today – so obviously we had high hopes.

This mysterious gin arrived in the post – unfortunately not encased in the bottle we fell in love with – but in a plastic tasting sachet from The Gin Box Shop. But as soon as we’d tried it, the packaging didn’t matter. As it is bottled at 43.4%, this gin really does pack an almighty punch! Every little flavour is unmistakeable and beautifully balanced; it’s certainly been well worth the wait.

One for all the ‘proper’ gin lovers out there. We’ll definitely be getting a bottle, and not just to look pretty on the shelf!

About This Gin

This American gin is often described as a ‘classic London Dry’.  But with Vodka being used as the base spirit and the type of extraction process that is used to create this gin, it doesn’t have the bitterness of a typical London Dry.

Our Opinion

Waking up in the morning, it was easy to remember the name of this gin, we’ve certainly felt like we’ve are knocking on Deaths Door a few times after one too many – we’re sure many of you can say the same. It’s a nice gin that is very smooth and easy to drink. In fact, so much so that we’d be happy to drink it neat over ice! Give it a go, but just not too much, you don’t want to be knocking on that door in the morning.
